A Malay Muslim desktop engineer by trade, Fairuz's unconventional background and his knack for self-experimentation allows him the creative freedom to expand his repertoire to include design, photography and creative writing which has resulted in a stream of varied works from zines to poetry and short fiction.

Fairuz has worked with clients such as "by SF. " on editorial works for their Sakura and #SFEID19 hijab lines, and clients for their engagements and personal portfolios. In addition, his literary exploits have paved the way for him to be a guest poet for events like the Poetry Festival SG 2021, his works sold in Wardah Books and be invited as a panelist at the Singapore Writers Festival 2022.
